I recently came across a hot air brush and am debating on getting it. There suppost to work as if you have given yourself a salon blow out. I've read a lot of mixed reviews but it just seems so much easier than using a hair dryer and brush! Opinions please :)

I've used one of these before! They are great for giving you volume and they really do help your hair hold the shape you give it, but I do have one complaint. That is that the barrel gets really, really hot and the hot air blowing out of the barrel is super hot too. I know it is supposed to be, but maybe it's just how the thing works but either way it blows into my eyes when I'm using it and it irritates my eyes-- as in, makes them tear up. But if this doesn't bother you, then I'd say go for it! It's great for creating volume and shape.

Thanks so much! I think I'm going to get one, I'm just so sick of pin straight hair with out any volume lol!

Go for it, I really thinks it works! I'd also get the Tres Emme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse, that stuff REALLY works!

It doesn't look that complicated. I've watched multiple tutorials on it and it looks a lot simpler than giving yourself a blow out the old fashion way!

If any of you have long hair this wouldn't work. Those are really made for short hair. I'm hairstylist and I've seen some bad accidents caused with this "easy to use" tool.
