If you're like me, and you don't like DIYs, have you tried a body butter? I really, really love the True Blue Spa line, as well as the Jergens body butter. After you exfoliate at night, put it everywhere and go to bed. They're great night time creams, because they're super thick and hydrating, and they work while you sleep.

You need a chemical exfoliant, physical ones like scrubs are not enough. Don't get me wrong, scrubs have their benefits and should be part of your regimen. Scrubs are good for preventing build up and mild flaking. Try Amlactin or Lac Hydrin lotions, both of these have lactic acid in them and will eat away at dead skin build up safely. They can be found at most drugstores. Also Philosophy sells a foot lotion called The Soul Owner that contains glycolic acid that is good also. But be careful and don't get these lotions get inbetween your fingers or inbetween your toes because it will burn that tender skin right off, esp. the The Soul Owner. Thats how potent it is.

I know you mentioned moisturizing hasn't worked for you but have you tried hemp lotion? In my experience it made my elbows and knees very soft with daily use. I like the hempz brand in the papaya scent :)
