Yes. My nails are intensely weakened from over-doing the nail polish.?? Give it a break every once and a while, and that should be okay.??

Yeah redoing nail polish a lot can be harmful, especially since you are using more chemicals to paint and remove polish every time.

Polish can trap moisture against the nail plate, which over time will weaken the nail and can lead to fungal infections (this is more of a problem for acrylic wearers but "chronic" polish wearers also have issues). Also, the nails need access to air; nail polish blocks the nail bed from taking in oxygen, leading to hypoxia and damaged nails.

Always use a base coat when painting your nails, use a strengthening non-acetone remover, never peel off polish, and give your nails a rest every so often by forgoing polish for a week or so.

I do my nails ALL THE TIME I go to target and get the target brand nail polish remover with the blue cap it is supposed to have stuff in it that helps your nails. When I used that it worked like a charm but then my mom came home with a different kind now my nails are very bad.
