I have no idea how to do my makeup for music festivals, I want to look good yet still have a good time. Any ideas?

Depends on the weather. Last year at Lolla it was hot and rainy, for example. I used waterproof make up..lip stain (to avoid having to touch up)..brought a lip balm..cheek stain..and put my hair in a messy bun..which I took down at night. I tucked a rain poncho in my purse.. which doubled as a place to sit on wet grass/mud. I kept my eyes simple because I had sunglasses on all day.

Oh..I also used adhesive backed moleskin cut to fit the thin strap of my cross front purse. Keeps it from rubbing while you walk around. Also put large pieces on the inside of my converse where the heels rub...and brought band aids. No blisters or burns for me! The moleskin is removable and flesh toner..near the bandages at the drug store. Bring a collapsible water bottle with a clip as well. Have fun! Did I mention SPF? ;)

You want waterproof, sweatproof, bulletproof makeup. You sweat a heck of a lot and its always boiling hot at festivals. I recommend whatever foundation you use that you use powder AND setting spray to set it. I usually wear mineral veil and all nighter setting spray and by the end of the concert my makeup is still intact.

For eyemakeup, wear long lasting eyeshadow, preferably cream. And waterproof liner and mascara is a must. Regarding lipstick, if possible I recommend lime crime's velvetines. These are INDESTRUCTIBLE. They recently came out with 3 new dark shades. definetly worth looking into!
