I just use honey and the sugar nothing else lol. I feel like other exfoliates never get the dirt put out like the sugar and honey does. I just wanted to make sure.

Yes , ofcourse and here's a small tip if you have uneven skin tone you can add a little bit of lime into your mix and you'll notice the difference after a few of using it.

I made this concoction a while back and like I honestly didn't feel like it exfoliated jack squat. Not my face, body, not legs. Made me smell good, though... Lmao

It works alright. I use sugar mixed with honey and olive oil and while it doesn't work for my acne it does help get rid of dead skon.

I think lemon and brown or white sugar works better, its almost like a facial or you can use it as a scrub...it works awesome.

I think sugar is too abrasive for a face, especially brown sugar as it's not refined.

Sugar is a great exfoliator but its only a harsh and harmful ingredient to your skin if you scrub with excessive pressure. You really need to be gentle with it and instead, be gentle and exfoliate longer than putting more pressure and exfoliating for a shorter period of time.
Also, when you make homemade DIY exfoliators, add a moisturizing agent in it as well by adding a few drops of oils in it :)
