To be fair though, some salons also suck! My sister had her hair literally fried off by bleach at a place in California, where she lives, and when she came home to our normal hairstylist, she took my sister around the whole damn salon showing everyone how destroyed her hair was, because the ends literally fell off, like 6 inches of hair, at random intervals.

Of course, you're super talented and that girl's hair looks awesome. If you're ever in GA and want to do some funky colors, look me up!

Yes, I definitely agree. Some stylists should never ever step anywhere close to hair. I honestly have no idea how they pass the board.

I just tell people to research and find a good stylist.

I don't understand how someone can let that happen. Every time I use lightener, I stay by my chair and I never use heat. If I do, it's just a few seconds with a hair dryer.

I had a horrible highlight experience... I've got brown hair, level 6 tone ill say, n wanted blond, obviously lol,... she started on bottom and went to top...n my hair was long so it took a bit, then she checked bottom, they were like white, so she proceeded n took all of them out!! so bottom was on like an hour, n top was only on for 20 minutes. it was horrible! back was fried, top was light brown.

This is amazing work but I have to disagree that doing your hair at home is always going to be this way, I've been dying and bleaching my hair on my own for a good 7 years now and have had both good and bad experiences and have learnt from those but I do agree with you also. I've just personally never had any good experiences with any hairdresser in the last 5 years lol!

Not always no, though in general box color is still just as damaging.

Hair is so different person to person that it's just hard to summarize in one little box. In my opinion, I'd rather have a personalized color made just for me.

It sucks that ya'll have had bad salon experiences. It just makes me wanna teleport and get you all in my chair. 😂
