I'd suggest having a look on Pinterest/Google Images/YouTube for ideas, they'll have tons. As it's summer, you could try a block neon colour, although I adore lilac, white and yellow at the moment on my nails. You'll want to have something that goes with a lot of what you'll wear, as they last 2-3 weeks. Are you going anywhere, such as a formal event? If so, I'd make sure they go with what you're wearing:) you could try a block colour, with an accent nail of maybe glitter, diamantes or a design such as a flower, butterfly or silhouette like a palm tree. I always love having matte black gels done as they go with everything. Dependant on the sort of colours you wear a lot (like I wear a lot of blue), you could try doing them so they won't clash. Like if you wear a lot of red, don't get pink, and vice versa. A reputable nail technician should be able to do a lot of designs, so you should have a choice. Many nail places have a design book of what they do, and you can have a look through that to see what you like, so you know they can definitely do the design you want. Worse comes to worse, you turn up and they can't do the design you want, but you can always pick a similar one from what they can do.
