I wouldn't get them done there because they aren't actually professionals. They did mine in the wrong place so when I'm older my ears will sag. I wouldn't suggest getting them done their.

I would suggest getting them done at a tattoo shop or a beauticians. Somewhere that has proper professional, reputable piercers.

Any other place to get them done?

Find a tattoo shop, they normally do piercings. Make sure they are reputable

I got my second piercing there, I have no complaints. And for price I don't know what the diamond one was but birthstones are usually a little more pricey then the others. I got Alexandrite I think and it cost about $50-$65 If I remember correctly.

Piercing pagoda is also a great place to do it.

If you are just getting a regular love piercing then yes you can go there. That's where I got mine done and I had a fine experience! They healed very fast and I just never had a problem! I don't think there is any problem going there for a regular lobe piercing!

The guns they used can't be fully sterilized just an FYI.

I got my lobes pierced there as a baby, lol, I've never had problems no.. Like I said though, they can't be sterilized...which is kind of disturbing to me. It's unprofessional and unsanitary

No my friend got hers done their twice and both times they got infected. Also, the second time she got them done it hurt so much that she could only stand to get one are done.

Claire's piercing are done With a piercing gun, which can destroy your cartilage because of the shock it makes on your ear. And as Renay said it can't be totally sterilized, which can give you amazing things like infections, aids, hepatitis,... Just go to a professional piercer. But not the first shop you see! Take your time to choose someone who will make the job properly! The price may vary from a place to another, it's probably around 30€

The earring shoots through your ear, not the actual gun. You're fine with having your ears done with a gun, as long as you're piercing your lobes

Um yes obviously you are being pierced with the earring, the real concern is these guns CANNOT be properly sterilized. Reusable ear piercing guns such as the ones used at Claire's can put you in direct contact with blood or bodily fluids of the previous person (s) who have been pierced. They do not become sufficiently cleaned in between clients, cleaning just the exterior with alcohol or a cleansing wipe does absolutely nothing to properly satirize the working parts of a gun. If an earring shoots through a clients ear and they bleed all over, there is no telling that it didn't become airborne thus contaminating everything in the vicinity, including the inside of the gun. It's been medically proven that this can be the cause of transmitted diseases. The people at Claire's hardly have any idea what they're doing when it comes to piercings. It's not sanitary at all.

DO NOT GET THEM DONE AT CLAIRS! I got mine done there and they messed it up, they were uneven, and my cousins got their pierces done their and their ears got infected. It may be different at your Claire's, but please don't do it. Get your ears pierced by professionals, and sorry for all the upper cased type lol.

Guns can shatter your ears lol, and anywhere else those untrained people will try to pierce you with it. Like Renay said, obviously they're unsanitary. Another reason they'd use guns is because they don't have the qualifications or knowledge to use a needle which is why they work where they do and not at a "piercing shop" so to speak. Guns are just a breeding ground for germs, they put YOUR earrings into that gun, that isn't clean, and to top it off they're piercing you with a blunt object which in itself isn't the right thing to do getting a piercing anyway, it's like asking for a breeding ground of germs in your ear lol. Just go somewhere reputable that don't do piercings this way.

When you get your lobes pierced you have to get it at certain place on your ear lobe (not necessarily the centre) or else they will end up drooping when you are an old granny sitting in a rocking chair knitting lol. I didn't know that when I got them done and now I am kinda upset because they look fine. They aren't lopsided or anything...but they will be messed up later. 😭

Go to an actual piercing shop.

I would say if you are trying to get your cartilage done, please don't get it done with a gun.
