A while back, I got my hair thinned so that I could sport a specific hair style, and I constantly straightened my hair which fried it completely. I'm starting to really regret it but my hair is finally growth back out and healthy again but it's just not the same. Do you guys have any tips on vitamins, shampoos, conditioners...anything to promote hair growth.

Don't take any pills without consulting a doctor
Use sulfate free shampoos and conditioners
The rate of hair growth is genetic so the best you can do is keep it healthy

By vitamins I meant things like fish oil, omega 3...not Biotin. But I think I'll hang up all my hair stylers for a little while and see how it works :) I only straighten or curl about once a week now.

Some people say horse shampoo helps thicken but I've never tried it. I do have a couple friends that use it and their hair is gorgeous!

Do NOT take Mane and Tail or horse shampoos. NEVER. They're not pH balanced for our hair and they'll dry it out massively. The wax weighs your hair down, resulting in belief that your hair is longer, when it's not.

Lol good to know. I would say don't wash your hair everyday. Use dry shampoo on the second or third day if you feel like your hair is getting to oily.

Using Castor oil as a deep conditioner,it helps with split ends and I know people who use it to grow eyebrows and eyelashes fast!!

My hair long, thick, and healthy so personally what I do is take fish oil tablets and that might play a part in it. Every other week I use a hair mask with 2 eggs and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil and I notice my hair is super shiny and soft after I use it. Hair growth may be a genetic thing but caring for your hair with a hair mask will definetly improve SOMETHING. Drink and eat healthy and you'll notice in everything :)
