First of all kudos to your fiance for braving MAC. Not too men will do that. I do have a suggestion to make...the color looks fab on you...to give a different look...like an ombre lip. I would pair this up with a lip liner in either MAC cork,magenta ,plum, or nightmoth. Hope you feel better soon.
