Using Differin medication around my mouth irritated my skin.
And also using Maybelline Great Lash clear mascara irritates and burns my skin a little for some reason. Maybe it's something in the formula

it was this! ugh ugh ugh. it made my face so red and irritated, burnt like crazy also. I couldn't apply ANYTHING after using this bc my skin literally felt like it was on fire. Horrible.

I think it's just kind of personal to you. We all have different skin. It just depends on your skin and how you react. Just try to use products that uses ingredients that are noncomedogenic, meaning they are less likely to clog pores and break you out (but can they? Yes.)

I would say stay away from scrubs with beads in it (like some St. Ives scrubs) as Traci L. Said they can cause micro tears in the skin.

Beads are fine. They should be round. Nut shells, any thing jagged causes tears.
The worst thing I have used is a depilatory cream.

Neutrogena acne cleanser (never had acne, I wss cluesless then) that my mom got me. I literally got burnt all over my face and it was swollen for two weeks. I had to put burn cream and everything and it only got better after a week and a half.
