Please help me with my room...

Idk why, but I am unable to keep my room clean. Everytime I try, I fail miserably. My room is literally DIRTY now... And for some reason, I really don't care(I know, it's bad!) Are there any DIY things that I can do? Also, do you have any tips? By the way, I have pet rats(don't freak out!) and their bedding (shredded newspaper) gets EVERYWHERE. So any tips for that to are welcome😉
