I was thinking about this today because lately I've been experimenting with matte eyeshadows.
I don't have much experience using matte, because 90% of my eyeshadows are shimmer/glitter.
So I dug a few out and started playing! I was actually very surprised how much of a different look it achieves and I fell in love!
What have you guys been playing around with lately, or trying to improve!? 💄

I've recently been trying cut creases and darker colors :) I'm trying to improve my blending 😬

5/10 minute make up. So I can stop being late to places and still get a lot of sleep without getting up too early.

Winged liner. I'm horrible at it!

Liv: Cut creases are on my list next!
Lauren: I've been shortening my routine ALOT for similar reasons. Like if it's really early in the morning, or I'm not going anywhere that important. I basically just skip eye makeup. But I do foundation, bronzer, blush, concealer and brows. Saves a ton of time!
Maressa: I need to work on winged eyeliner as well!
Renay: that's a good one! When changing up the makeup routine it's always very strange at first to see yourself in something you do not typically wear.

Skincare right now because I'm so dry from winter on my nose :( lol. But makeup wise, I'm always looking for ways to perfect my foundation application lol :) and filling my lips in a bit but that's a work in progress lol.

Awesome answers ladies! It's interesting to see how each of us struggle with different techniques. As they say, practice makes perfect. 💜

Agree with you. Matte eyeshadows and brighter colors that aren't neutral and shimmery.
