I like it, you get your money out of it in my opinion. Try searching "ipsy" on the BL talk search engine, they're are loads of other topics like this that have way more informative answers than I could ever give. :).

Personally I don't love it. I feel some months I get 1 good thing and some months are awesome. I did the one year and I just am not a huge fan yet and I'm on month 3. So I don't recommend it yet. But the little bags are cute!

I've had mine since January and I like it, this past month wasn't as good but at least I got one item in the whole bag I actually liked which was a lip tint and I guess it was still worth it since the lip tint is $22 and the bag only 10.

I've had mine a little over a year and for $10 I LOVE it! Although some months are better than others, the products are always worth the price you pay. In fact, I've been calculating and none of my bags this past like year and a half have been worth less than $20. So that's great! If you only have $10 I would go with ipsy not birchbox. Of course, the more expensive subscription services like glossy box are going to have more and better stuff because they cost more! Anyway, here's a few examples of some products I've gotten:

10ml sample of überliss argon oil

0.1 fl oz roller ball If Calvin Klein euphoria (used everyday and HS lasted almost 3 months and I still have half the sample left)

Full size Em by Michelle Phan nude lipstick

Full size be a bombshell eyeshadow quad

They also have amazing customer care! Last month my eyeliner exploded in my bag and ruined the bag and the product. I asked for a replacement liner and said I didn't really need a bag since they give them out every month. The girl said yes they'd send a new eyeliner out and when I got the package it was an entirely new bag with new products or same products in different colors plus my eyeliner! So I thought that was great! Plus the ipsy website is a great tool! Overall it's a great company who gives out makeup bags that are well worth the price!

I'm about 50/50. Sometimes I love it and other times I hate it. Some of the stuff I get at times doesn't feel like it's even worth $10. I know people will argue that the total value of the bag is much higher but if I get like 4 products I don't like or can't use the value to me personally is usually much less than $10. I havw gotten some very cheap brands that feel like they belong in the dollar store and it frustrates me soo much. The last bag was probably the worst yet for me, I only liked a single thing and it was something I'd already tried. Even the bag, which is usually always cute, was horrible this month, in my opinion at least. The previous 2 months were great, I got a lot of skincare stuff that I really loved and actually would buy again. Along with an eyeliner I have been absolutely loving. Going from fabulous stuff to complete duds can be annoying. But if you like getting a surprise package and have slightly lower expectations than I do you might really like it! :)

If you're getting products consistently that you don't use or like you should go take your quiz again. I take the quiz every 3 months and it switches up the products!

@Kendra, I've retaken the quiz multiple times and even rated the items I disliked extremely low. Like I have basically told them "I don't want to receive this brand" on their rating/review section and I still get stuff from the brands lol. It's been months since I told them I didn't want to try mascara anymore and lo and behold the one item I got that I liked this month was a mascara lol. It's okay because I do like it but I'd have rather tried another different product. I mainly decided I didn't want mascara anymore after getting one that made my eyes itch and 2 pairs of false lashes I'll never use. But it is what it is lol. Not every bag can be a winner, I just don't want products that feel cheap I guess.
