Are you going to the beach or are you just going to walk around?

Omg! Take me with you! 😩
A lovely bright coloured maxi skirt would be great! With a single coloured short sleeve crop top, nice jewelry, a fashionable sunhat if you're going to be walking around & some sandals ☺️

I would seriously consider the weather. I'm not sure what the weather is there now but I went last august and was surprised by the chilly air! I took jeans, 3/4 sleeved shirts, a blazer, a leather jacket, booties, flats and dresses with tights. It depends on what your doing and 70-80 may seem warm but in reality it requires a light jacket unless your used to always cold weather.

It's always chilly! make sure to bring a sweater! especially if you will be near the piers. :) it's really the winds that get to you.

What are you doing in SF? I can give better recommendations if I know sort of what you have planned.
In general though, dress in layers. It is windy and very humid (cold humid) outside, so a jacket and long pants is ideal. Inside, a tee-shirt is usually okay. It tends to be crowded inside of local attractions/restaurants/etc. and therefore on the warm side. Wear good, supportive shoes since you will probably do a lot of walking (even if it is just walking from a parking spot a couple blocks from your destination, it adds up!).

Ah okay! Lots to see and do in SF. Golden Gate Park is gorgeous, as are all of the museums on the grounds. If you have the time, check out the Academy of Sciences. It is well worth the admission-- massive aquarium, three story indoor rainforest, planetarium, and many other exhibits that change frequently. :)
If you go to the more tourist areas (the Pier, Alcatraz, etc.) make sure you are very aware of your surroundings and your belongings. Pickpockets are EVERYWHERE and they are quick and stealthy. Also, be aware that if you purchase food, seagulls WILL try and take it right out of your hands. They are evil sky-devils.
Have fun!
