Hello,
I am looking for a brand making Makeup Brushes with Short Shaft because I'm short sided I need to get really close of the mirror and long Brushes sometimes hit it. That is pretty annoying.

Maybe try a travel brush set? I'm sure just about every brand you can imagine has a set. Or try Elf's brushes if you have to cut them, they're cheap so it won't feel like you're destroying an expensive brush. The elf ones have brushes from $1 to $3.

Yes why not I was already interested by ordering elf products but it's sad to have ugly cutted eye makeup Brushes ^^

Maybe use a saw to cut the ends off neatly and then go pick up some little figurines and glue them to the ends? That way you can still make them pretty.

But I believe that elf's gem-handled brushes are all already a small/travel size. So if you got a few of those you wouldn't need to do anything and they're already super pretty :)

Definitely look for travel size makeup brushes. I really feel bad that you feel like you have to cut your brushes down. =[
What I do is, when I put on my eye makeup, I hold up a hand held mirror with my other hand & do it that way. I also had the problem where I would crash against my mirror & I hated it. But w/e you do, please don't cut them! I'd be so scared to get splinters or something.

Andrea brings up a good point that I overlooked, don't cut them if you aren't used to using any of the tools needed to do so, you could get hurt and I'd hate to see that someone got hurt following advice that wasn't fully thought out at the time. I forget at times that not everyone is okay with saws and other sharp, potentially dangerous tools. I had a props class in school so I have a decent knowledge of these tools and of products I can use to alter something. It's just a way I'm used to thinking after completing my special effects program and sometimes I overlook the fact that not all are as confident with the same things I am. So don't do anything you aren't comfortable with and avoid splinters and further injury lol. Just wanted to take a second to clear that up, sorry for the rambling

No it's ok don't worry I am not very often using saws but I can ask my father or my boyfriend to help me if necessary

Ok just wanted to make sure my advice didn't lead to injury lol. I think if you are going to have to cut them sawing and then sanding is the best way to go. And then maybe decorating them to sort of make up for them having to be short. Hope all goes well whichever method you use and you get some pretty brushes out of it :)

Eco Tools has mini brushes- I found mine at Rite Aid. Rite Aid also has their own brand of makeup brushes that are awesome and have small shafts- the Renewal brand. I feel you, my left eye can be really annoying to deal with when putting on makeup- sometimes I can't see. Its hard putting on eye makeup because I don't wear/like contacts, but I can't put on eye makeup with my glasses on! <3

No one sees your make up brushes but you. Call me crazy but reviews that go off about "cuteness" always seem to make me laugh, because in the end, isn't their usefulness the most important part.....
