i know that people recommend to not wear red eyeshadow, but i think it would be great if i was doing a rainbow design on my eyes. have you used or heard of any good companies that make high pigmented red eyeshadow? thanks! :)

Hey ! Yes check out sugar pill they make amazing red eye shadows ! Just make sure you never use it on your lowerlash line only cause it will make you look really ill. Ive seen red eyeshadow look amazing so many times rhough

I used to love red eyeshadow! You have to be pretty good at applying it. I would do a red smokey eye with winged eyeliner. It's always looked amazing. Haven't done crazy colours in years.

loove red. nars blush in exhibit a makes a great eyeshadow too. that on the eye and lightly on the cheek is soo nice.

Makeup for ever has a few reds and they are wonderful. I wear t frequently. Totally wearable with just a bit of purple or pink.

When my hair was silver I wore red eyeshadow all the time it looked amazing!! Remember you can wear any color it's all about the application & complimenting colors. I like sugarpill, makeup forever and Bloody Mary :)

NYX has a pretty red eyeshadow called Africa. I think it is an inexpensive way to play with the use of red. I got it because it was on clearance at my local grocery store. It's really pigmented.

Sugarpill Love + is pressed, and Asylum is loose and has a metallic finish both are Red and amazing. Concrete Minerals makes a great matte loose pigment called Risque love it. Also Saucebox Cosmetics makes a mostly matte with a slight silver glitter called Russian Rouge which is also great. All Indie Companies online(:

Sugar Pill has a great one. I wear a red shadow almost everyday. I take my jumbo pencil in Rust and apply that as a base and then I add Brownscript by Mac all over my lid. It makes my eyes pop and won't make me look sick.

I love red eye shadow and I agree with all the sugarpill fans about their awesome red shadows. I've never had a problem with red or pink eyeshadows, but If you're afraid of looking sickly always use a black pencil on the waterline and a winged eyeliner on top.
