Vaseline and coconut oil works really well! And be sure to exfoliate too, to remove all of the dry skin. A good home remedy recipe is lemon juice and sugar :D

I read somewhere to use Lanolin(sounds odd but it's cracked nipple cream), and apparently it works wonders. I myself plan on getting some this weekend because I can never get my lips to heal and stop cracking and drying out.
it's 9-10 dollars at walmart :)

I had that problem until I read somewhere to rub moist lips ( like right out of the shower) with a soft toothbrush ( used only for this) or a washcloth. I tend to use my towel and apply some moisturizing lip balm right after
