I'm going to school this Friday and I don't know what to expect! any life advice, make up or style advice I should take to my first day? Thank you!

Life advice? Be yourself. As cheesy as it sounds, you'd be surprised how many people go above and beyond and change up who they are to "fit " in. Feeling lost in classes? Speak up and ask the teacher; chances are there are other people who have the same question but don't want to say anything. Not feeling that adventurous? Ask a student next to you :) it's a quick way to make a friend, and an easier way to study when you have someone who can break it down more in your language. Bored? Go join some intramurals or clubs! Such an easy way to make friends who have the same interest as you. Think about rushing for a sorority as well, it's a bit more to think about but still something to think about :) (I'm in a sorority so if you have questions let me know haha). Your college is what you make it, basically.

Makeup and style advice? Do what feels comfortable for you! Whether it be wearing sweatpants, a bun, and barely any makeup to slapping on some heels and dressing up with a full face. Impress no one but yourself unless you're attending an event. Like mentioned, just be yourself and be comfortable. I dress up and put on a full face almost everyday when I'm at college and I feel great. Just do what's right for you.

For clothes wear whatever you feel comfortable in. And for life advice, don't try to impress people that you don't even like. It's a complete waste of time.

Lana I would find one good professor or counselor. I am very close to a honors professor/coordinator of the program. On several occasions she has gotten me through situations that I would have to wait weeks to get a response back. Pretty much somebody who has your back
