Hi!
I am looking for a hair straightener for really kind of sensitive hair, because when I use any kind of heat on my hair, using heat protection, it just smells really bad and my hair gets super damaged. I have an ionic curling iron, which shouldn't damage your hair and even using that and heat protection is really bad for my hair. Does anyone know any hair straightener that won't damage my hair (that much)??

Look up a conditioning vapor flat iron. Basically you put this stuff that comes with it on your hair and it can like set the flat iron to a heat setting that is right for your hair so you don't over fry it.

If your hair is that damaged I would recommend you to not use any heat tools on your hair for a couple of months, your just making it worse!

@Sabrina, well I almost never use any heat, the thing is, my hair is really frizzy and I've got a lot of hair, so it's like super difficult to actually do something with it...

To help your hair, put coconut oil in it overnight. Fried my
Hair, and the oil has helped a lot!

Super frizzy hair is a sign that your hair needs massive amounts of moisture. There is no such thing as sensitive hair...fragile hair yes but not sensitive. If your hair is smelling bad whenever you apply heat to it that simply means the iron is far too hot for your hair and its actually burning the hair. I highly advise leaving the heat appliances alone and investing in some really good deep conditioners because it sounds like to me you are using heat tools inappropriately.

Agree with Shelley, Sabrina, & Katrina. try doing no heat hairstyles. you can always have pretty curls without heat. personally, I like curls way more than straight hair anyways ;) for the frizz, put coconutoil in your hair after you shower. it has helped me so much.

Are you a naturally curly haired girl...if you are I say embrace your natural hair while you work on getting it back into tip top shape.

It's probably not the straightner that's the problem
Try examining your shampoo n conditioner they could be damaging /drying out your hair more so than the heat tools esp if you rarely use them anyway

It sounds like your ends are really damaged. I agree with what everyone else is saying, deep conditioners may really help. You may want to go to a salon and get a trim to knock off the damaged ends and get a stylists opinion on what to do.

I use paul mitchell flat iron. it is expensive. I got it on sale for $130 but the original price I think is 150-160. I truly love it. it's so good. I wanted to prevent damage to my hair being that I do flat iron often and I have little to no heat damage.
