@Clarissa oh my goodness I finally caved and bought the Electric Palette after I swatched it! It's amazing! Try doing a neutral eye, and smudging the color you love under your lower eyelashes- a beautiful pop and start! Soon you'll be playing with colorful smokey eyes! 😁

@ Chelsea I know what you mean! Try a really light color to start, I bought an Urban Decay shadow in "Naked" (It's in the first Naked palette too) it's very light, slightly grey, and looks super natural! See? Now you rock your brows- that's awesome!! 😁 I had an artist insist I needed orange, now it's one of my favorite blending colors! Kat Von D makes an amazing orange lipstick too!😍 If your friend say something, just plant a big lipstick kiss on their forehead!👹💋

My makeup fear is contouring, I don't know where to get the right products and everytime I try it looks hideous!
I was also afraid to fill in my brows but I messed around, Youtubed and finally have the hand of it and make sure I don't do the typical penciled in fat brows!
I've wanted to try oranges but I'm afraid of what my friend will think :(

I'm scared to wear more bold colors on my lips... also things like snapbacks and other style things haha. But y'know, I'm still young now. I want to wear fun lip colors and just enjoy it. :)

My makeup fear is probably just too much make up in general. Just the fear of wearing too much foundation, or eyeliner, or lipstick scares me. But at one point I was really scared of winged liner and I definitely conquered that one!

I wouldn't call it a fear, but false lashes are something I am not interested in trying.
I feel like they would annoy me and make my eyes feel heavy. I cannot even get myself to buy them when they are on sale for $3.00. I always grab them but once I get to the check out I just toss em and say I don't want them. I think someone would have to give them to me for free lol.

My "makeup fear" for myself is wearing a really dark, black smokey eye. It's not (not to sound cocky, I don't mean it that way at all) that I don't think I can execute one, I just find they look odd on me.
I actually have this fear, I want to become a makeup artist, and I have this fear someone will ask me to do something I don't how to do, or can't do.

The thing that scare me a lot is bold lipstick , I find it beautiful on me , but a thing I hate is when people tell me " you got lipstick! " YES THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS. I find this really embarrassing.. I try to go slow and I can now wear lipsticks , but not too bold..
Funny , because I really like to wear some when I go out with my parents or friends , on a place where I know nobody , so no one will tell me " you got some lipstick don't you? "
The thing is that sometimes, I feel brave and I finally put the lipstick , but then , I go out and loose ALL my self esteem and try to take it off.. 😫

Oh these are great to share with each other! You are all so, so lovely! It's very hard to believe that we get hung up on this stuff- I do it too! I read somewhere a gal said she started wearing full glam red lips while vacuuming, and finally was like "I own this." And never looked back! 😁 I assure you Gals, you are all stunners!! Whether it's smokey eyes, red lips, brows (me too! I'm working on it!😁) falsies, contouring, cheek color or bright eyes, I think the trick is practicing and wearing it when you feel comfortable and taking baby steps? I love your stories and look forward to your conquering pictures!! Post an "I did it!!" Thread? Maybe one month to train??😁😁 💪🎨😎💕

I had two fears really
1. Wearing eyeshadow- I used to all the time during my 'scene' phase but when I snapped out of it I realized how bad it looked. I didn't even stop to think that a little makeup knowledge could turn eyeshadow into a good thing, I automatically associated it with being a cake face. Now I absolutely love it and I've been playing with different colours as well!
2. Touching my eyebrows, as in filling them in! I'm so dark haired and I thought they were already so full but now I learnt how to do them and I absolutely love my eye brows! I'm fairly proud of them.
Now I'd like to conquer lipsticks and bottom eyeliner :(

I have always.been afraid to do a really glam look with like red lips or a smokey eye. Also this is really weird but my makeup can't be to perfect because then I feel like it draws to much attention. So I always skip blush, never have a over done eye brows etc. I also do this with clothes.
