How to brown eyeshadow with blue eyes?

My sister says I can only use copper/blue etc.for blue eyes and brown is for brown eyes. That doesn't sound right, right?

That's not right. You can use any color you want when it comes to eyeshadow, some colors just suit your eyes better I think that's what she meant maybe but yes you can use brown shadow for blue eyes.

Here's the thing; the colors that will really make your eyes pop and stand out are the ones on the opposite side of the color wheel. For example, when I want my hazel eyes to look super green, I wear reddish shades. Here's a color wheel, for reference :) for blue, the color on the opposite side of the color wheel is brown. Brown shadows actually make blue eyes stand out the most. there are certain colors that won't necessarily look the best with your eye color, but by no stretch can you "only" wear copper or blue.

I think black eyeshadow make blue eyes look so piercing and gorgeous!! anyways, I don't see you wouldn't be able to wear brown

I always wear brown eye shadow and I have blue eyes. I think it looks the best but you should wear whatever you want.

My signature look is copper all on my lid and a medium brown blended in my crease. Make them pop!
