The best mascara?

Every time I get new mascara I always get a new kind because I haven't really found one that I'm in love with. I'm always afraid to get the more expensive ones too because I'm afraid it won't live up to my expectations. So my question is has anyone found a mascara that they think is the best?

I agree with Maybelline the Falsies. I have repurchased it multiple times and it is definitely my holy grail. It maintains a curl (even the non waterproof) it lengthens, separates, and gives volume.

For drugstore I love bourjois one second volume mascara and loreal so couture. For high end I love benefit they're real and MAC extended play giga black for bottom lashes! I find maybelline mascaras to smudge on me and the waterproof make my lashes too crispy and brittle.
