Hey ladies and gents, I am looking to buy a good antioxidant serum or peptide serum, I am confused about what each does for the skin. Please advise, high and low end recommendations would be very appreciated! Thanks 😄

There are all kinds of serums Antioxidants protect your skin from free radical damage peptides perform different job some firm, brighten, promote cell turnover ,I prefer to protect my skin in the daytime with a antioxidant serum like vitamin C I use Isomers C stem serum or the C E serum and carnosine serum and night time Isomers wrinkle liberator and dark spot liberator ,low end I would use roc retinol at night and olay regenerist serum and there really are no good low in Vitamin C serums that I could find

I love antioxidant serums! I've tried quite a few and most sit on the mid to high-end range.
*Mario Badsecu Peptide Serum (there is also a peptide cream as well)
*Replenix Power of Three Serum...it contains three super antioxidants...green tea polyphenols, resveratrol and caffeine
*SkinCeuticals also has a range of antioxidant serums for various skin types
*NeoCutis ReActive Antioxidant serum...some pricey stuff but this is physician grade so its pretty strong
*Apivita Natural Serum Line Reducer...this is more geared to older skin experiencing some minor wrinkling in the mouth and forehead...the ingredients lean more on the natural side versus lab generated components thus the $40 pricetag
*Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough...I'm personally going thru a bottle of this now and its been pretty good for me. I add a scoop of Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder with it. Great combo for me.

Whichever serum you go with its very important to apply a moisturizing spf30+ after the serum application for day daytime use if you want to see and maintain the positive results or else you're just wasting money. And as with any skincare product drastic positive results do not reveal themselves for at least 3-6 months. You should see minor changes but nothing earth shattering. So many people make the mistake of dumping a product after a week of use and then going on to something else continuing the vicious cycle of no results. There are several other one's but I'm not at home to look at my notes to post those as well (yeah...I keep a detailed journal on all the skincare goodies I have used or have in my rotation).

I like when hope is not enough as well. It's the first serum I ever bought, and I'm sticking with it. Which says a lot because I am a frightful hoarder of products.

Yes Shelley, I have been using the same hope is not enough serum since Kate February and now, I think its doing something good to my skin. I did not like the hope in a jar moisturizer, but I think I may repurchase the serum!

I can't leave the Hope is not Enough Serum alone. My all-time fave from Boscia was discountinued and though I've tried many other serums at various price points I just keep going back to Philosophy.
