Saving Money, Beauty Points/Memberships?

Are there any ways to save money on makeup? I know Ulta has some great sales, and Sephora does their beauty rewards program, but if I'm going to spend money on my makeup, I want to get a little extra too like samples or discounts. Any suggestions?

A good way is to be on their mailing list. I get emails from stila sephora sugarpill bare minerals urban decay..... So on and so forth. It is nice to know who is doing sales when. I often think stila has the best deals. It all depends tho on which brand you use the most of.
