Idk how much you apply on but if you apply a lot on maybe tone it done and apply less I don't know.

Maybe you should learn more about the art of makeup. But try putting LESS on the brush and not go overboard.

Maybe it's the way you're applying it or maybe it doesn't go well with your skin like for example a matte foundation with dry skin could look cakey.

What makeup are you using? some cheaper brands can be more cakey and harder to blend and get a flawless look , even expensive ones when applied wrong can look cakey

Exfoliate and moisturize! Also use a setting spray instead of powder. I agree with the ladies also saying to use less product. And apply your foundation in downwards strokes.
