I'm on vacation right now and the water here is very hard, has lots of minerals in it. My hair feels and looks horrible. 😰 It's dry, tangled and sticky from all the residue. I've read about putting vinegar, vodka or lemon juice in your hair to wash away the minerals and shampoo. Should I try these? What are your experiences with hard water, how do you deal with it? Please help me turn my hair back to normal! 😊

I wouldn't use lemon juices or vodka... Lemon may lighten your hair color..Maybe vinegar. But like Jacqlyn said, boil the water. That's what I do when camping and get water from the lake (There are no showers)

I've used vodka on my hair before XD my aunt did it while we were camping and it is super drying. I don't think it'll help your situation at all! And I wouldn't really put lemon juice near my hair since it's so acidic. Is go with what Jacqlyn said!

Never use alcohol on your hair it is so drying! try using a hard water shampoo like Malibu. look up Malibu shampoo or go to a local salon and get somr.
