I want my eyelashes to be longer any tips?

this sounds stupid, and everyone says im stupid for doing it, but I honest trim my lashes with cuticle scissors(just the ends) and then I use almays get up and grow one coat mascara, and they grow really long. :)
if you dont want to trim them, just use the mascara :)
