Hi ladies I just wanted to give you my insight on my Keratin treatment I had today! So I'll start off with telling you that the whole treatment process took 4 hours on my medium to short length mixed African American hair, so my hair is almost cork screw curly when wet. When she started she first washed and conditioned my hair, after she towel dried it then put on the Keritan treatment, after it dried (turned from white to clear) she blow dried it and straightened it ( be careful there is a lot of steam and chemical smell coming from straightener while they flat iron it with stuff in your hair to get as much frizz down as possible) from there she washed my hair again and put on a deep repair mask that went with the treatment. After she washed all that out she blow dried my hair again and straightened it and voila! She timed the last straightening process and it took 20 mins! The first time she did it took 40 mins! What a change :) I am really happy with my choice and this cost $250 best investment of my life any questions? Just ask :)

Is it like a Dominican blow out?

Where did you get it done at.

@Jorie C. Almost like the Dominican blowout but the Dominican has a lot more heat to it and they use huge hot rollers

Pink E.
How long does it last and I agree could you post some before and after.

Maya P.
@pinkE it should last about 4-6 months on average, but because I'm African American and have a dry scalp instead of oily and don't have to wash my hair all the time it possibly could last 6-8 months for me

I'd like to see before and after pics too 😁 I want to get one done too, but I was told that on curly hair it smoothens hair not straighten it.. So I was wondering how different is it?

My hair still has A lot of body and bounce and it's flowy , I wish I had before pictures but I have a new phone and my old ones arnt on here but normally when I straighten my hair by myself without the straight treatment my hair is not straight and it doesn't have bounce or flow and it just kind of stays in one position :-/ then when the wind comes my hair gets even poofier and frizzy it's emberessing.

@Tal M yes it's supposed to smooth the hair and take out the frizz so then when you wash your hair your hair goes from tight curly to loosend up curls so that makes it easier to straighten it.

After your hair is wet your noticed a big change after she wet my hair after the treatment normally like I said my hair is corkscrew curls but this time it was just wavy the whole point of this is to make your hair more manageable in easier to deal with normally my hair takes 40 minutes to straighten but after the treatment the blow dry was real quick and my hair was pretty straight just alil pooofy and straighten process took 20 minutes cause my hair was already less curly
