Very nice... since your a hair dresser can you answer me this... I had black in my hair I want burgundy now but when I went to my local salon the hair styling gave me s**t about bleaching my hair like it was going to be to much work for her to get the black out... I was soo.disappointed at her attitude I just left... is it really that difficult? what do you recommend.

It's not that difficult but it can be a bit difficult to remove the black from your hair and the hair still be healthy especially if you've been using drugstore box hair dye. But to go to a burgundy you really don't have to lighten the hair much. I am so very sorry you had to experience someone like that. It was best to walk out because if you persisted she probably would have ended up rushing trying to get you out and you wouldn't have been too happy with the outcome of your hair. I'd say to try and let the black fade on it's own naturally and then go to a different stylist and see what they say. Every stylist is different and every stylist has their strengths and weaknesses.
