I get paid my first ver wage in a few weeks time and I've told myself I could buy one expensive product, like a pallette or makeup brushes but what should I get?!

I'd say brushed. cheap brushes with expensive products won't look as good as cheap products with expensive brushes. they make all the difference. ove heard good things about coastal scents bhcosmetics and sigma. I like sephoras brand as well, though individual brushes are on the high side, but you only need to buy what you need. also invest in a beauty blender. they're fantastic for foundation.: )

Have you got a Selfridges near you? When I found out I'd graduated from uni I decided to splurge on a few Charlotte Tilbury items. Seriously good quality and they feel really luxurious if you want to splurge that's what I'd go for.
Or when I get my first wage I'm planning on getting a new Jo Malone perfume. I had one for my birthday, seriously beautiful perfume if you're into that.

I would splurge on eyeliners or on lippies. Maybe even mascara. I can't really recommend any high end products though, I've never owned any. By the way, this is unrelated but I love your nose piercing.
