I'm hopefully going to ombre dye my hair tomorrow with the Loreal Paris Wild Ombre hair kit. Anyone tried this? What's it like? Does it give a nice ombre or a line? And does it make the hair brittle? How can I stop that from happening?

I'm sorry, I have never tried this product. I'm thinking the trick to getting a nice gradient is to apply it with as many "lines" as possible starting from halfway and moving down, so to achieve the most seamless look.

I really like it! It gave my hair a Carmel to blonde ombré. It does not give a line if you use it correctly. I recommend someone help you. And also use a good leave in conditioner after!

The way I used it is started from the bottom tips and then waited 5-10min and then applied more to the top and gradually moved my way up to below my ears. Then whatever little product I had left I put above my ears so it wouldn't create a line. If that makes sense.

Yes, that makes perfect sense. My mum will be helping me, so if it goes wrong I'll blame it on her! I'm not doing much hair with it, maybe just up to my chin (my hair is not very long) but I'll try! Thank you! Also, which one did you use?

I did it the same way as Jocelyne..started at the tips and went up. I used my fingers to help fade it so I didn't get a straight line. It turned out great and my hair wasn't damaged at all. I did a deep conditioning treatment also. I used the one for soft black-black💋

I used the same one in that picture. It worked super well. I left mine on for much shorter because I just wanted brown ends not blonde, and it worked perfectly.

Thank you all! Jessica, your hair is lovely! Jocelyne, the box for mine looks slightly different but I think it's just new packaging. Gypsy, how did you use your fingers? Did you just kind of feather it up or something?
