I don't wear foundation and I am thinking about wearing some I don't have and pimples but just an uneven skin tone. However I read that it can cause pimples and I also read that it causing pimples is a myth and it is usually just hormones so I was wanting your opinions!! Thanks!!💕💕💕

You could wear a BB cream, it's a lot lighter than foundation but still evens out the skin and blurs imperfections. I really like Rimmel's, and I heard Garnier has a good one too :)

Certain foundations can clog pores, especially if you forget to wash it off every night (the story of my life lol) you can start off with a light coverage foundation and go from there :) honestly though, I just looked at your pics (me being a creeper lol) and you have beautiful skin girl.

As long as you take care of your skin and always wash your makeup off entirely you shouldn't have any problems :) just check ingredients and reviews before getting one so you can get an idea about how good the formula is.

I use concealer because I have uneven tones on my upper cheeks only. Its not very noticable but when I do my under eye, I only use my skin tone and I lightly take it a little further. Its hard to explain so I might even have to make a video lol.

Honey, there is no "should" in make up. Not in my opinion. You choose it. Either you want it or you don't. Ask yourself, are you willing to spend maybe a lot of money for one foundation? Because I can promise you, a better foundation will be the high quality, more expensive foundations. I can recommend a few drugstore foundations, but that's only by L'oreal (True match and Infallible), those are my two favourite drugstore foundations.

You are right though, SOME foundations can cause breakouts. That's why I actually recommend you spend a bit more money on a better foundation, choose wisely what you apply onto your skin.. Your skin is a breathing, living and growing organism. Treat it like that.

Girlie, find a foundation that will NOT break you out, nor clog your pores. If you find out they do, then stop using it right away. It's not worth it. I can personally recommend the Lancome Idole Teint Ultra Foundation if you have normal to dry skin, if your skin is on the oilier side and you don't want a shine after 5 - 6 hours, then drop it. Or use a powder with liberally. I can also recommend the Estee Double Wear Foundation.

But in the end, it's your choice, remember that.

I have uneven skin tone and acne scars but I personally don't like foundation on me thus I don't buy/wear it. Like they said it's a matter of preference. I don't use concealer either though. I'm not a fan on face makeup on me. I don't feel like myself with it on, if you know what I mean. I'm use to seeing my skin in a certain way and if it's too perfect, it's like 😳😳😳wth are you?

Foundation causing pimples is NOT a myth. Some of them contain harsh ingredients that may cause breakouts, rashes, reactions and more. I don't suggest wearing foundation over pimples, it'll just make them worse, even if you wear a primer under, that primer still has chemicals. Also, if you have an uneven skin tone, get a toner for that. It'll do much less damage to you're face than foundation can, it's important to let you're skin breathe, not to burry it under makeup!
