Hi all, I'm getting married in just over a month and want some hairstyle suggestions! I want a sort of messy updo with side sweep bangs and those strands that come down and frame your face. maybe a braid or 2? thanks!

Two big things to think about are what your neck line of your dress looks like and if its an outside or inside wedding. Also whether or not your wear your hair up often. A lot of brides think they want their hair up, but then see it like that and don't feel like themselves. You want it to still feel like you, just a much fancier version :]

@Megan S: Thanks for that, I'm not usually a hair up kind of person, but I'm wearing a traditional Chinese dress for one of my outfits, and that has a high neckline/collar, so I think my only option is to have it up. That's why I want it semi messy and a little over my ears, so I can still feel like my hair isn't pulled taut against my scalp.

Oh that sounds like a gorgeous dress! Yea, tousled and textured all up sounds like a great idea for you. Are you doing it yourself or having a stylist do it? Cause if you are doing it yourself, I'd definitely. start out the morning with large barrel hot rollers in it to give volume for whatever up style you do choose. Congrats btw! :]
