Hello,

I've heard thatNARS eyeshadows have been hit-or-miss. I really want to grab one at 20% off. I am sure that some of you have tried some of the duos? Would you please share your experiences and what colors worked well? I do not need/want a neutral unless it's absolutely beautiful. Thank you in advance

I think the duos are good. It's the NARSissist palette and some of their larger palettes that haven't been up to par with their duos and singles.

NARS is my absolute favorite and despite hearing that I was still going to give it a try. I will research some other vibrant shadows

If you want to spend the money, Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows ans Kat Von D shadows are nice and vibrant.

The Kawaii duo (I think that's what its called) is nice quality. I had the Brousse duo and agree with what Jackie said.

I agree with jackie I'm not a fan what so ever of the nars shadow no pigmentation you can use a primer and pack on the color like crazy but the darn thing won't show up what so ever its a waste of money not worth it the loreal infallible shadows are way way better then this and they are $7 I believe, if you want some high end shadows worth the money I would go for urban decay, they are $18 a piece and there's a palette you can customize your self for $10 its more expensive then nars but its something you won't regret

I agree Nars is not up to par with pigmentation but I found a solution for myself when applying Nars shadow Duo Mediteranee.I used Benefit Base/concealer Stay Don't Stray and it worked wonders with the shadows the color pay off was vibrant and it stayed in place all day,I was pretty pleased thank goodness.
