It looks like it's just around your hairline. I wonder if one of your hair products could be causing it. Have you started using anything new?

Excess oil from your hair/hair products?..
I use biore face wash products when I have breakouts.
or the body shop seaweed exfoliate.

I don't think its shampoo.
have you been using hair oil/dry oil.
it looks like you been wearing your hair down n its rubbing your cheek slightly n breaking out your edges

I haven't been using a hair oil. And my hair has been up 99% of the time. Because of my job it requires me to keep it up so it's usually in a messy bun

There are multiple causes to acne - from your diet to stress to cosmetics or skin care products you use on your face to the weather affecting your skin - we probably won't be able to tell you the cause as we are not experts and have not been monitoring any changes in these aspects of your life - so if you want to get rid of this stuff fast without making it worse - I would see a dermatologist - also as we age our skin changes as well and though you may not have had acne growing up - now that you are an adult your hormones are changing so it could be hormonal... Only the derm will be able to tell you for sure

Sandy, yes always. Diana, that is good advice thank you

@Melissa.
gotcha..
then Diana is right. it could b anything at this point..
age. hormonal changes. breakouts around your period hormonal changes. stress. or work environment (I come across a lot of dirt at work n my face shows results. if its a crazy wk, I break out. if its a wk of meetings there's a huge difference)..
in my humble opinion it really looks lime grease. my skin changed from dry to combo more oily since I've crossed over 30. your skin could literally b changing.
try tea tree oil as a spot treatment once you've cleaned your face n moisturized. see if that helps.
another thing I do during breakouts is ditch my moisturizer for a night or two. just use a basic serum.. sometimes we put our skin into overload with product useage.

Oh and one more thing I meant to say on the "grease" tip.
could also b your intake..too much greasy food/fatty food. not enough green veggies n water.
like Diana said. could b anything. those are just some suggestions of things to think about.

Mine started in my mid-20s and at 44 I still have issues with it. Mine is hormonal. See a dermatologist. They can tell you what's happening, and can help you manage and get rid of it. I've found Clean and Clear Persa-gel works great to control mine, but I have super oily skin, so it doesn't dry me out. Cetaphil oil-control moisturizer works well for me too.

I would recommend seeing a dermatologist I went to get my skin checked and now my skin is pretty much clear! They can probably give you the best advice on what to use and all of that.
