A lot of my sweaters have done the same thing.. I don't know what it is, my mom suggested washing, so I did and that didn't help, then she suggested a lint roller.. that didn't help, because they just kept popping out, it's a mystery that I have yet to solve. Lol.

Run a lighter over it with the flame very lightly and they will go down. I do this all the time.

My sister once suggested that, I never did it because of the fact that it's a lighter against clothing lol.

They are called 'pills' and basically they are little balls of cotton that ball up, washing it makes it worse you can get a pill razor at Walmart it looks like a little fan but cuts those little things off but you do it again after you wash it I will find a pic so you know what I'm talking about.

This, unfortunately, happens to me all the time too. I will usually just take a pair of scissors (small, hair clipping kind) and cut any loose threads off of the material
