Hello Ladies, I was shopping on base at the BX and picked up the Ester Lauder Double Wear Maximum Coverage, I've heard great things and can't wait to use it.
I also got some philosophy samples:
Purity 3 in 1 Cleanser
Microdelivery Exfoliating Face Wash
Full of Promise Daytime/Night time Serum

I use a flat paddle brush when applying it :-) They changed the colors last year so that's why it's limited.

Use a big dense fluffy brush! I am a makeup artist for Estée Lauder and that is the best bet for that foundation. If you use a standard foundation brush it will come out too streaky or worn cover evenly.

Interesting Grace, Are you a freelance artist for Estee Lauder? I'm a bit thrown back that you would suggest a dense fluffy brush (powder brush) to apply this foundation but I'm intrigued please explain it further.I would think it would be like flattening cement with a mop since the foundation is a bit like soft clay.A flat paddle brush is a foundation brush made to apply such foundations with ease and if your skill is up to par you shouldn't have streaks it also is the amount you put on in areas to work with on your face.

I'm confused Sandra, you did great with the flat paddle brush. My concern was the fact that a fluffy brush was suggested which with the hair bristle being more spread apart wouldn't work hence why I said it was like flattening concrete with a wet mop lol
