My skin has gotten extremely dry this past year. my t-zone is dry and irritated, my skin care routine is this: wash my face with my clarisonic and cerave face wash I use my clarisonic about 4 times a week, go in with my salicylic acid treatment, and use a heavy moisturizer. I've used cerave, Cetaphil and even the glam glow thirsty mud and my skin is still bone dry. it's not so much the first layer to where I could just peel off the dead skin it seems to be the 2nd layer? and it's barley getting to the 60's here in texas. it'll get a whole lot colder and I know my skin will definitely freak. any help will be amazing! thank you!

I had some really dry, irritated skin, but the Mario Badescu Rose Hip Oil has help tremendously. I use that and then First Aid Beauty's ultra repair cream. it's been so helpful!

Read “How Drinking 3 Liters of Water Every Day Changed My Skin” in the editorial section! I think drinking lots of water will make a big difference!

I would try a different cleanser. I've tried Ceptaphil & CERAVE AND THEY FELT TACKY AND NOT VERY MOISTERIZING. I like Burt Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser. Your skin won't feel stripped its 100% natural unlike Cerave which has a lot of chemicals in it. Plus, the Burt Bees Orange Cleanser feels so good & smells like fresh oranges. Its truly a pleasure to use. I've tried the other dry skin formula cream cleansers by Burt Bees & the orange is my favorite for its texture, smell, cleansing ability and natural ingredients.

As a treatment, I like Tarte's Maracuja Oil for nighttime and sometimes even under makeup.

I really love the Clinique dramatically different + lotion or gel. Works wonders for my skin when I go through dry spells! 😊 good luck!

I have eczema which is like a super dry skin condition and I find that using tissue oil on your face not only intensely moisturizes it but helps it look more even and prevents wrinkles.
