Looking for a prom dress!

Okay so I havent went shopping yet but I've looked online and I find soooo many typical, tacky prom dresses that I can't stand. I wanted to know if you guys have recommendations? I have blue/green eyes but I would like to stay away from royal blue& silver jewels (veryyy typical) and mermaid/ball gown styles. I'm leaning towards emerald-ish and nude colours. thanks :)!

Well my favorite prom dresses are definitely from La Femme but usually most prom dress sites don't put out the 2015 collections until later this month or December, so I would wait then because the trends from the 2014 dresses (in any brand) will be different.
