The melted lipsticks are kind of like a drier finish not quite matte though. as opposed to the la glaze ones which are just very pigmented glosses. So it just depends in your budget and the kind of finish you want, you know?

Too Faced is drying and I don't think the color payoff is as intense as the LA Girl. I feel like you get a better product w the LA girl for a lot less.

They are two completely different products. The packaging for the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints is just inspired by the Too Faced packaging. Too Faced is more of an actual liquid lipstick, and the LA Girl is more of just a really pigmented lipgloss.
