Make up wise you could try do a crack outlined in gold and put kinda, cogs in it?

Steam punk is kinda like a cosplay fantasy type people that have become machines or work with machines... It's really cool!

Ooh, I'm being steampunk too! I think the basic idea of this costume would be to have a corset on top, a long jacket or a shirt with puffier sleeves, a top hat or aviator goggles (all in neutral-ish, darker tones). Then you can add chains, pocket watches, spats (the little things that go over your shoes), fingerless gloves, lots of leather and buckles and gears, keys, and basically anything mechanical-looking. As for hair and makeup, I would probably tightly curl the hair and either leave it down or put it in some kind of half-updo, you want it to look crazy. For the makeup, you could go simple with a smokey eye and a dark red lip, or you could go crazy and paint gears or keys or something like that on your face. Sorry that was really long, I spend a lot of time on Tumbler. :D.
