I purchased this couple weeks ago. Love it and adore it. The tip has gotten quite dull and when I first bought it I was under the impression that it was a twist up but it is not. So I'm assuming I should sharpen it like a pencil eyeliner. However I don't have a specialized eyeliner sharpener and I can't get one anytime soon. The only pencil sharpener I have at home is electric. Should I dare try that? Seems like a bad idea to me :/

Before I got my sharpener, I used a razor to shave off the pencil to a point
But I don't recommend it because liners are too soft for this and people are rarely experienced to do that
it should only be done for emergencies
Just stop wearing eyeliner until you can get a sharpener

Or you could just get a regular pencil sharpener that isn't electric and use that until you get a specialized one.

That pencil is super creamy and would leave a mess. I would be afraid that the electric sharpener would leave all kinds of fragments, dust and bacteria on the pencil. I'd just skip the eyeliner, and Sephora's double chamber pencil sharpener is good and inexpensive. You could also use an angled brush to get product off the dull end and use it like a gel liner.

I have a pencil sharpener, but I only use it for my eyeliners, I used it a couple times for an eyebrow pencil, nothing happened

Ugh too bad it's tested on animals.
