I have my first job interview today, I don't know what to wear. I don't have any other pants than what I am wearing, jeans, and leggings. Since these are like leggings my shirt comes past my bottom lol. I'm not sure if this is what I should wear. Any tips? :):)

Do you have any nice dresses? Leggings are just… well, they're only a bit better than jeans if I'm being honest.

I think dark denim jeans are better than leggings. as Sarah suggested, maybe try a dress or a penicl skirt with that top. goodluck!

So you have any black dresses, because that would look more professional then leggings. but if that all you got, maybe add on those professional jackets in black, ( I don't remember what it called) and good luck

You should never wear leggings or jeans to an interview. Whenever I interviewed I wore black dress pants and a black blazer. I'm going to be brutally honest, when you are applying for a job you really want lets say for a major corporation you plan out your outfit atleast two days in advance not the day of. From a human resource prospective, if you walk in with leggings or jeans it demonstrates you are not serious about this interview. If this is an interview at mcdonalds or a minimum wage job you might be able to get away with a dark color jean. Whatever you may be applying for good luck with your interview. In the end clothes don't matter it's credentials and personality.

Lol I can't wear a dress because it is winter where I live. It's dominos pizza, but okay thanks.

Danica, I assume you are about 16/17. I am 15 and when I went to my job interview I just wore jeans and a blouse. I even wore Vans. If I am right about your age, it doesn't matter what your clothes look like. You get an uniform anyways... As long as you look sorta "good" it is fine. Just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. It is not like you are 30 and the job interview is for something you really want. Like, you probably want this job, but it is not like you depent of it. I think at least.

If I am wrong about your age, then well, the thing I have written above will not apply to you

Btw, I got the job ;). There were over 50 applications and only 4 would get hired. And I was one of 'em 🎉🎉

Where are you interviewing for?

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter if you're applying to McDonald's or a Fortune 500. You dress for the job you want, not the one you have (or even the one you're interviewing for). So you walk into Domino's overdressed for that place because you (I assume) would eventually like to work somewhere better than that.

I get what you mean girls, but I think that if you are 16 years old, again I appologize if I am mistaken about your age, it is just... Unussual to wear like a pantssuit. Of coarse, when your are older and you start to look for 'real jobs' (the ones which you are planning on working for like... A very long time lol, you obviously will wear nice stuff. But it is her first job which means she isn't that old yet. And well, at least at the place were I work, it is just very weird to look 'professional'. They just expect you to do your job and give you way to less money for it, not that you look presentable while doing so lol

But like I already said, this is just my oppion and I do agree that you should dress to impress if you want to.

I think you should wear the top but with black leggings and what ever colored booties you want it depends on the job.

I think it's all about how much you want the job. If you're content being just an okay applicant that didn't do anything to stand out, then that's your prerogative. For my first job, I did simple cubicle work and was outright told that the dress code was casual. But you can darn well bet that every day I didn't have to wear jeans for lab, I was down there in slacks, a skirt, or a dress and leggings. You're not just trying to impress your Domino's boss because you can, you're impressing him/her because that's going to be your recommendation for a better job. And I'd think that I'd like my boss to remember me and tell future possible employers that I went above and beyond.
