I think your hair is too dark for a honey brown. You'd have to maybe bleach it which isn't a really good idea. You should get a dark burgundy red. That would look fab 👌

That's really opinionated whether bleaching is a good idea or not, yes it damages, but dying itself damages as well. It's all on ones perspective on bleaching. & I've gone from dark brown to a lighter brown without bleaching, it's possible although some say it's not. I've done it and it indeed works.
