I had to do multiple costs of nail polish, and it's dry enough to run my finger on it and nothing happens, but if something else were to run against it, such as another nail, or my pillow when I go to bed, it would mess up.. if feels and looks like after doing a gel nail polish if that makes sense. How do I get it ALL to dry? I've been waiting an hour & a half and it's still in this state.

I remember having one a few years back, it took foooreveeerrr. I just don't want my nails to smudge :/ I think I applied coats too fast when they weren't all the way dry.. like its dry on top but not inside or something lol

I read that putting your nails in ice water will help but I've honestly never tried it so I can't testify for it lol

@Taylor, yes it works, but not in this case it isn't :/
@Jacqlyn, I already ruined them lol. So much time wasted! :/

Maybe next time, I'll freeze my hands off by using the ice water technique and freezer technique. They oughta be dry after all that huh! Haha. Anywho, thanks gals! <3

Maybe because it's gel nail polish?

What I do is have a mini fan and dry my nails a bit after a coat with that, and then I put them in a bowl of ice water, I find when I skip the air drying part and go right to soaking in ice water it doesn't dry as fast. Also it could be that your polish is too thick, and it doesn't dry because of that. You can get nail polish thinner and put a few drops in your polish it might help.

My nail polish is thin, that's why I had to do so many costs. & it's not gel nail polish, I was just comparing the two. I think I just was impatient and didn't wait for all costs to dry completely. Thanks everyone!

Apply many thin layers of nail polish and let them dry in between coats.

Dip your nails in cold water for 20 seconds after each coat and shake dry your fingertips then apply next coat works great for me!
