I hear wetting your hair, forming ringlets with your fingers, pressing them to your scalp, pinning them with hair pins, and sleeping on it will turn into beautiful curls in the morning. Or you could wet your hair and braid it, and it should also be curly by morning.

Braiding doesn't get it curly, it gets it wavey.

I tried the headband curls (you tube) the other day..using a little mousse on dry hair) and it worked! You have to be careful not to not loop the strands through themselves to prevent knots, but they came out lovely and lasted all day (with Kendra hairspray). I still think flexirods are quicker for really long hair. If not, foam rollers.

Headband curls are the best for me! At first it might look weird, but just make sure not to do it with really wet hair, try almost dry hair just a little bit damp and with some curl mouse.
