I'm 5'8 and I've been told I'm too short! :( (in cm I'm 1.73 but they wanted at least 1.75). This is HUGE news to me! Thanks :)

You can definitely do commercial modeling. no requirements for that. I started modeling around age 4 & did commercials, ads, independent film, etc. you'll just have to look up agencies near you & do your research. I know I went to modeling school & my mom found an agency for me. they'll help you build up a portfolio so people can see what you can do. for freelance modelling I agree with Jacqueline on asking Lela.

5'5 is considered a "petite" model. You should get basic headshots and may be 1 or 2 full body shots for your portfolio. It depends on where you live for the agencies. I'm a model myself so if you have any other questions just ask, I'll be glad to help!

& don't ever think that you are not pretty enough or that you can't get to a certain level, you can do anything <3 you're gorgeous!

I think you are considered petite, I'm not sure, you should look into a modeling school they can probably make your portfolio there that's what I did
