It's starting to get hotter in Australia and every year for the past four years I've had the same problem with my skin.
It starts off as a small, dry, flakey red patch on my cheek which then goes down my jaw, up onto the other cheek, down my neck and onto the top half of my chest stopping just on the first 1/3 of my cleavage.
It's not very visible to other people (apparently) but when I put my makeup on for work, it makes the foundation appear darker and makes the flakes visible, even after exfoliating.
I've tried exfoliating, not exfoliating, coconut oil, jojoba oil, rosehip & evening primrose oil, beeswax, raw honey, vitamin E cream, anti fungal cream and an array of organic moisturisers. Nothing seems to help, but it eventually goes away when autumn comes.
I've talked to my gp and they didn't offerer any answers or solutions.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? Does anyone have anything for me to try?

That happens to me sometimes! Just put petroleum jelly or a thick moisturizer on before you sleep, make sure you put on a really thick layer.

I do have health insurance but it doesn't cover dermatologist, and I'm also on a payment plan for my $600 shoe inserts T_T.

It doesn't itch, and doesn't eczema generally stay all year. If not I'll definitely check that out. Also my insurance is sooooo basic yet $25 a week ¬_¬

My mum has eczema and hers flares up in the summer. She uses steroid cream which is AMAZING. E45 cream is also pretty good too.

Thanks Hannah and Jacqlyn, I'll have to make an appointment with a not so silly doctor!
