What Color Should I Dye A Part Of My Hair?

Since I'm a ginger I never want to dye all of my hair. But I really want to dye a small streak in my hair. I've been told that black would look cool, but I don't know. I want it to be on the lower half of my head, so my hair covers it mostly. If that makes since. What color should I dye it?

I wouldn't do black with red hair
(I'm really happy you're not dyeing your whole head lol. Love red hair and being a ginger!)

One blonde streak would be cool
I can't really think of any color unless you want them to contrast with the red hair. The only one I can think of is an unnatural red

But if you want a color that would pop out, purple would work.

I agree blond would look good, I've had red haired friends who have gotten highlights and it looked gorgeous :) I think a certain brown color might suit the underneath part of it too, but I'm not sure :p.

If you're new to dying your hair, dying it lighter takes two or three times depending on what you use.
I had a dark purple streak in an extension for a while, if you don't want it to be permanent, maybe try that.

My best friend is a ginger and she has a blonde streak in her hair; it looks completely amazing!! She gets tons of compliments and stuff.
